Hindquarter Roast al Fuego

Prep Time: 15 min Cook Time: 45 min

Ingredients:

  • 1 Venison Hindquarter

  • 1 can of Chipotles in Adobo Sauce

  • 1 8oz pack of Creamed Cheese

  • Black Pepper

  • Bacon

  • Fuego Dulce Sweet-Fire Habañero Sauce

Directions:

  1. Make incisions (against the grain) ¾ of the thickness of the roast and rub down with black pepper.

  2. Stuff incisions with Chipotles in Adobo sauce, then pack them in with Cream Cheese, and baste with Fuego Dulce.

  3. Cover with bacon and baste again with Fuego Dulce.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for roughly 45 minutes (depending on the size of roast). It’s best to use a meat thermometer to make sure it’s cooked medium rare (venison roasts are best served this way). After 30 minutes of cooking, baste bacon again with Fuego Dulce, 15 minutes later pull it out and enjoy.
